Kromschroder 88000023 VAS232R/NW gas solenoid valve is normally closed, meaning it remains closed when not energized.

Opening: To open, AC voltage is applied to the solenoid coil through a rectifier with a voltage limiter, activating a blue LED. The magnetic field pulls the valve plate and stem upward, opening the valve. With the double-seat design, incoming pressure is evenly distributed across both seats.

Closing: Kromschroder 88000023 VAS232R/NW valve closes automatically when voltage is removed; the blue LED turns off, and the stem returns to its original position under spring force. The valve fully closes within 1 second. A mesh filter at the inlet prevents dirt particles from settling on the seats, ensuring minimal pressure loss.
