Kromchroeder UVS10D2 84315205 UV-sensitive detector installation
To ensure the safe installation of the Kromschroder 84315205 UVS10D2 UV sensor, please adhere to the following guidelines:
- Utilize Kromschroder UVS10D2 84315205 UV cell exclusively alongside Elster Kromschroder automatic burner control units, flame detectors, or burner control units.
- Provide cooling to the Kromschroeder UVS10D2 84315205 UV-sensitive detector using filtered air when exposed to elevated temperatures to safeguard it against dirt and condensation.
- Maintain a maximum distance of 400 mm between the Kromschroder UVS10D2 84315205 flame detector and the flame.
- Use a ½” viewing tube for installation, aligning it with the first third of the flame, where UV radiation is typically highest. Ensure the inside of the steel tube is uncoated and directed above the flame to prevent dirt accumulation in front of the UV sensor.
- Shield the Krom schroder 84315205 UVS10D2 UV sensor solely from the UV light emitted by its own flame, protecting it from external sources of ultraviolet light such as neighboring flames, ignition sparks, welding arcs, or ultraviolet-emitting lamps, especially when monitoring pilot and main burners.
- Avoid exposing the viewing opening of the Kromschroeder 84315205 UVS10D2 UV cell to direct sunlight.
- Provide cooling air to maintain optimal operating conditions and protect the optical system from contamination and condensation.
- Ensure the cable length does not exceed the specifications for automatic burner control units IFS, PFS, PFD, flame detectors IFW, PFF, or burner control units BCU, PFU.
