Honeywell VR4625A1037 gas valve

Honeywell VR4625A1037U gas valves are designed for reliable gas flow control in various household systems, such as heating, heaters, boilers and water heaters. They provide standard functions and can be supplemented with a variety of devices, including pressure regulators, throttle valves, soft ignition devices, two-level regulation and modulation of gas flow. Honeywell VR4625A 1037U Compact Automatic Gas solenoid valves are available with various power options, including mains and low-voltage, and also have different throughput capacities.

1. To control the opening of a safety valve of class A or B according to EN 161.

2. To control the opening of the main valve of class B, C or J according to EN 161.

These valves are also suitable for working with different types of gases, including:

– Petroleum gases MFD group A (G110).

– Petroleum gases MFD group B (G120).

– Natural gas H (G20).

– Natural gas L (G25).

– Liquefied gas LP (G30).

General provisions

The Honeywell VR4625 A 1037U valve is designed for use in gas heating systems with DSI, HSI or IP ignition systems for the main burner. The main burner is controlled by two-position electrical actuators.

The main characteristics of the VR4625A1037B gas regulator include an internal fine-mesh filter on the input side, and on request can be additionally equipped with an output mesh filter. Various models of the regulator with different closing forces are also available:

To control and adjust the burner pressure on the regulator, fittings with an outer diameter of 9 mm are provided on the input and output sides. The regulator can be installed within an angle of 90° in any direction from the vertical position of the two-position electric actuator.

The base of the VR4625A 1037B gas solenoid valve has two threaded mounting holes for convenient installation on the heating system. The two-position actuator of the main valve of the tracking type is equipped with a DIN standard electrical connector and is easily connected to AMP connectors.

Principle of operation

The VR4625 A 1037B gas valve provides automatic control of the gas outlet pressure using a built-in positive feedback system. This ensures reliable closure of the main valve in the event of a power failure or gas supply.

The positive feedback system ensures a stable output pressure, regardless of changes in the input pressure. When small volumes of gas are disconnected from the regulator, the outlet pressure is adjusted to compensate for the pressure difference.

If pressure regulation is not required, the regulator spring can be locked. In this case, the full pressure of the “servogas” determines the position of the main valve, which allows you to effectively control the output pressure.
