Honeywell VR4615VB1030 gas valve

Honeywell VR4615VB1030U regulators are designed to control gas flow in domestic heating systems, water heaters and boilers. They perform standard functions and can be supplemented with pressure regulators, throttle valves, devices for smooth ignition, two-level regulation and gas flow control.

The Resideo VR4615VB 1030U Compact Automatic gas valves can operate from mains or low-voltage power supply and have different throughput. They are suitable for working with various types of gases, including petroleum gases MFD group A (G110), MFD group B (G 120), natural gas H (G 20), natural gas L (G25) and liquefied gas LP (G30).

These gas regulators are equipped with two electrical actuators: one for opening a safety valve of class A or B according to EN 161 and the other for opening the main valve of class B, C or J according to EN 161.

General provisions

The Hanivel VR4615 VB 1030U gas solenoid valve is designed for use with gas heating systems that support DSI, HSI or IP ignition for the main burner. The main burner is controlled by two-position electrical actuators.

The valve includes an internal fine mesh filter on the inlet side and can be equipped with an outlet mesh filter on request. Various models with different closing strength are available: B+ B, B + J, B+C, A+ J and A+C.

To control and adjust the pressure of the burner, there are pressure measuring fittings with an outer diameter of 9 mm on the input and output sides. The regulator can be mounted within an angle of 90° in any direction from the vertical position of the two-position electric actuator.

At the base of the VR4615VB1030B gas valve, two threaded mounting holes are provided for mounting on the heating system. The two-position actuator of the tracking type of the main valve is equipped with an electrical connector according to DIN standard and can be connected to AMP connectors.

The principle of operation

The VR4615VB 1030B regulator automatically controls the gas outlet pressure. Its principle of operation is to use a built-in positive feedback system that ensures reliable closure of the main valve in the event of a power failure or gas supply.

This system guarantees a stable outlet pressure, regardless of changes in the inlet pressure. If a small volume of gas is disconnected from the regulator, the outlet pressure is adjusted to compensate for the pressure difference.

If pressure regulation is not required, the regulator spring can be locked. In this case, the full pressure of the “servogas” will determine the position of the main valve to control the output pressure.
