Honeywell VR4605M2000 gas valve

Honeywell VR4605M2000U gas solenoid valves are designed for safe gas flow control in home heating systems, radiators, boilers and water heaters. They provide standard functions and can be customized at the user’s request, including pressure regulation, the use of throttle valves, devices for smooth ignition, two-level control and modulation of gas flow. Honeywell VR4605M 2000U compact automatic gas valves are available with various power options, including mains and low-voltage, and also have different capacity.

Each of these regulators includes two electrical actuators:

1. One for controlling the opening of a safety valve of class A or B according to EN 161.

2. The other for controlling the opening of the main valve of class B, C or J according to EN 161.

These regulators can work with different types of gases, including petroleum gases MFD group A (G110), MFD group B (G120), natural gas H (G20), natural gas L (G25) and liquefied gas LP (G30).

It is important to note that this gas valve is compatible with BOSCH/WORCHESTER WO1190 350RSF boilers (code: 87161567030).

General provisions

The Resideo VR4605 M 2000U gas regulator is designed for use in gas heating systems where ignition with DSI, HSI or IP systems for the main burner is used. The main burner is controlled by two-position electrical actuators.

The key features of this regulator include:

– Internal fine-mesh filter on the input side, as well as the possibility of adding an output mesh filter on request.

– Different models with different closing forces: B+ B, B + J, B + C, A + J and A+ C.

– Pressure measuring fittings on the inlet and outlet sides of the regulator with an outer diameter of 9 mm, designed to control and adjust the pressure of the burner.

– The possibility of mounting the regulator within an angle of 90° in any direction from the vertical position of the two-position electric actuator.

– Two threaded mounting holes in the base of the valve for mounting on the heating system.

– A two-position actuator of the main valve tracking type, equipped with a DIN standard electrical connector, which simplifies its connection to AMP connectors.

Principle of operation

The principle of operation of the VR4605M2000B gas solenoid valve is the automatic control of the gas outlet pressure. The built-in positive feedback system guarantees reliable closure of the main valve in the event of a power failure or gas supply. This ensures a stable outlet pressure, regardless of changes in the inlet pressure. If there is no need for pressure regulation, it is possible to lock the regulator spring, which allows you to control the output pressure based on the full pressure of the “servogas”.
