Honeywell VR4605CB1082U gas valves are designed to effectively control the flow of gas in home heating systems, boilers and water heaters. They are equipped with standard functions and provide the possibility of advanced configuration with additional options, such as pressure regulators, throttle valves, devices for smooth ignition, two-level regulation and gas flow control. The Resideo VR4605CB 1082U Compact Automatic gas solenoid valves have flexible power supply capabilities, including mains and low-voltage, and have different throughput.

The main characteristics of these regulators include:

1. Standard functions: Regulators provide standard functions necessary for controlling the gas flow in home heating systems.

2. Additional options: They can be supplemented with various options, including pressure regulators, throttle valves and devices for smooth ignition, which allows you to adjust the operation of the system in accordance with specific requirements.

3. Power supplies: The regulators are able to function with various power sources, including mains and low-voltage, which provides flexibility in their installation.

4. Double actuators: They are equipped with two electric actuators: one for controlling a safety valve of class A or B according to EN 161 and the other for controlling the main valve of class B, C or J according to EN 161.

5. Compatibility with different types of gases: The regulators are suitable for working with various types of gases, including MFD Group A (G110), MFD Group B (G120), natural gas H (G20), natural gas L (G25) and liquefied gas LP (G30).

Their flexibility and functionality make These valves are an ideal choice for various gas systems, providing reliable and efficient gas flow control at home.

6. Ambient pressure = 1013 millibars.

7. Ambient temperature = 20 °C.

8. Output diaphragm with a diameter of 2.8 mm.

General provisions

The VR4605 CB 1082U gas solenoid valve is designed to control the gas flow in home heating systems. It is compatible with various ignition methods, such as DSI, HSI and IP, for the main burner. The control is carried out by two-position electrical devices. The valve has an internal fine-mesh filter and can be additionally equipped with an outlet mesh filter. Different models with different closing strength are available. To control and adjust the burner pressure, fittings with an outer diameter of 9 mm are installed. The regulator can be mounted within an angle of 90° from the vertical position. The valve base is equipped with two threaded mounting holes for mounting. The two-position actuator of the main valve has a DIN electrical connector for easy connection to AMP connectors.

Principle of operation

The principle of operation of the Honeywell VR4605CB1082B gas regulator is based on automatic control of the gas outlet pressure. This regulator is equipped with a built-in positive feedback system, which ensures reliable closure of the main valve in case of power loss or gas supply changes. This system ensures a stable output pressure regardless of input pressure fluctuations. When the regulator processes small volumes of gas, the outlet pressure is adjusted to compensate for the pressure difference. If pressure adjustment is not required, the regulator spring can be locked, which allows the full pressure of the “servogas” to determine the position of the main valve and control the output pressure.
