Honeywell VR4605CB1025U gas solenoid valves are designed for safe and accurate gas flow control in domestic heating systems, heaters, boilers and water heaters. They provide not only standard functions, but also additional options, such as a pressure regulator, a throttle valve, a smooth ignition device, two-level regulation and modulation of gas flow. Honeywell VR4605CB 1025U Compact Automatic gas valves are available in various power options, including mains and low-voltage, and also have different throughput.

Each of these regulators is equipped with two electric actuators:

1. One mechanism is responsible for controlling the opening of a safety valve of class A or B according to EN 161.

2. Another mechanism controls the opening of the main valve of class B, C or J according to EN 161.

These regulators are capable of working with various types of gases, including petroleum gases MFD group A (G110), MFD group B (G120), natural gas H (G20), natural gas L (G25) and liquefied gas LP (G30). Thus, they provide a wide range of opportunities for effective management of gas systems of various types.

General provisions

The Resideo VR4605CB1025B gas regulator is specially designed for use in gas heating installations that support various ignition systems, such as DSI, HSI or IP, for the main burner. It provides efficient and safe gas flow control in such systems.

The main burner is controlled by two-position electrical actuators, which ensures accurate and reliable control over the process.

The VR4605CB 1025B controller includes an internal fine-mesh filter on the input side, and if necessary, an output mesh filter can be added. This provides additional protection of the system from dirt and particles.

To meet different needs, various models of the regulator with different closing forces are available, including options B + B, B + J, B + C, A + J and A + C.

For the convenience of monitoring and adjusting the burner pressure, the regulator is equipped with pressure measuring fittings with an outer diameter of 9 mm on the input and output sides.

The regulator can be mounted within a 90° angle in any direction from the vertical position of the two-position electric actuator, which provides flexibility during installation.

Two threaded mounting holes are provided at the base of the VR4605 CB 1025B valve for easy and reliable installation on the heating system.

The two-position actuator of the tracking type of the main valve is equipped with an electrical connector according to DIN standard, which simplifies its connection with AMP connectors. This allows for reliable and stable control of the gas flow in heating systems.

Principle of operation

The VR4605CB1025 gas solenoid valve provides automatic control of the gas outlet pressure. It has a built-in positive feedback system, which guarantees the closure of the main valve in case of a power failure or gas supply.

This system ensures a stable outlet pressure, regardless of changes in the inlet pressure. When small volumes of gas are disconnected from the regulator, the outlet pressure is adjusted to compensate for the pressure difference.

If pressure regulation is not required, the regulator spring can be locked. In this case, the full pressure of the “servogas” determines the position of the main valve, which allows you to control the output pressure.
