Honeywell VR425VA 1017-0010 CVI valves, which have the possibility of regulation, are used to control the flow of gaseous fuel in a variety of devices, such as gas burners, gas boilers, melting furnaces, incinerators and other gas-consuming devices.
These valves are designed to work in systems with spark ignition of the burner (DBI) and pilot burners (IP). There are two main valves in the kit: V1 and V2. The safety valve V1 opens and closes quickly at all times, while the valve V2 can either react quickly with the possibility of flow control, or slowly with the opening setting and flow control.
A pressure control valve is located between V1 and V2. The main body is equipped with 4 flanged connections for the installation of additional equipment, such as a C60VR series pressure switch at the inlet, a C60VR series intermediate pressure switch or a valve inspection system (VPS) in combination with a pressure switch. These components can be placed in different parts of the main body of the Resideo VR425VA1017-0010 gas control block.

Design and principle of operation
The Honeywell VR425 VA 1017-0010 gas solenoid valves are controlled by two-position devices that open and close the valves. They include a coil, a sleeve and a plunger with an anti-friction coating.
They work as a forced-action system with a pressure regulator and a relief valve. When the energy is supplied, the gas enters through the diaphragm, lifting the membrane. The control valve is regulated by a diaphragm, keeping the output pressure stable.
When the set pressure is exceeded, the control valve reduces the operating pressure, ensuring the stability of the output pressure. The adjusting screw is used to correct the pressure. If regulation is not required, the full pressure of the “servogas” sets the position of the control valve.
Exhaust pressure adjustment
• Open the pressure feedback connection (if provided).
• Supply power to both electrical actuators to ensure that gas is supplied to the burner.
• Check the gas supply to the installation by means of a gas meter with a clock mechanism or by means of a pressure gauge connected to the outlet pressure measuring fitting.
• Unscrew the pressure regulator cover screw to open the pressure regulator adjustment screw.
• Slowly turn the adjusting screw with a miniature screwdriver until the pressure gauge shows the required burner pressure. Rotate the adjusting screw clockwise to increase the burner pressure, or counterclockwise to decrease it.
• To exit the control mode (low pressure gas), turn the adjustment screw clockwise until it stops.
• Replace the pressure regulator cover screw.
• Restore the pressure feedback connection (if provided).
Standards
With regard to electrical safety, the Resideo VR425VA1017-0010 CVI valves can be used in devices that comply with the European standards of the EN 60335 series, which establish requirements.
The VR425VA 1017-0010 gas control unit also meet all standards for electromagnetic compatibility for non-industrial and industrial installations.
