The Resideo VR425VA1009-0000 valves are gas solenoid valves for controlling gaseous fuels in devices such as burners, boilers and furnaces. They have two main valves: V1 and V2. A pressure control valve is installed between them. The main body is equipped with 4 flange connections for the installation of additional equipment.

Design and principle of operation

The CVI valves of the Resideo VR425VA1009-0000 are controlled by two-position mechanisms for opening and closing the valves. They consist of a coil, a sleeve and a plunger connected to a rubber valve having an anti-friction coating that reduces friction.

These valves work as a system with a spring pressure holding them open. The main component is a pressure servo controller with a relief valve built into the diaphragm of the regulator controlling the control valve.

The power supply to both devices allows gas to pass through the diaphragm into the system and the regulator, creating a “servo gas” that lifts the membrane. When the control valve is open, the pressure generated by the Honeywell VR425 VA 1009-0000 gas control block is regulated by the diaphragm via feedback.

When the pressure in the diaphragm exceeds the set level, the control valve partially reduces the operating pressure, partially closing. This maintains a stable output pressure level despite input pressure changes. When switched off, a small amount of working gas from the regulator is discharged into the main chamber.

The adjusting screw is used to correct the pressure. If no regulation is required, the full pressure of the “servogas” determines the position of the control valve depending on the pressure.

Standards

With regard to electrical safety, the Honeywell VR425VA 1009-0000 gas control unit can be used in devices conforming to the European standards of the EN 60335 series, which establish requirements for

The VR425VA1009-0000 gas valves also comply with all electromagnetic compatibility standards for non-industrial and industrial installations.
