System operation
When heating is required, the fan power is turned on if the access bud is in the normally closed position. As soon as the access point appears
switches, the pre-purge time (Tp) begins. After Tp, the built-in igniter and gas valve are switched on.
The ignition spark ignites the gas, and the resulting flame is detected by a flame extinguisher.
If the flame is set, the ignition is switched off after a long ignition time (text).
If the flame does not ignite within a safe time (Ts), the ignition control system is blocked and the fan is de-energized. When the access point returns to its original position, the alarm indicator lights up.
If the flame disappears during normal operation, the gas valve closes after the flame failure response Time (TFR) has elapsed, and the ignition control system repeats the start sequence. If the flame disappears within a period less than TFR, no reaction will follow.
If the resistance value of the NTC sensor falls below the threshold value, the gas valve is switched off. After the specified response time (TTBB), the system
the ignition control is restarted if the sensor resistance exceeds the threshold value.
The fan turns on, the APS turns on, and after the pre-purge time (Tp), the built-in igniter and gas valve turn on.
Low voltage operation
The relay S4564C1000U is intrinsically safe at any mains voltage from zero to the maximum set.
The ignition control system operates in accordance with the specification within a specified range of mains voltage and tolerances in this range.
Cut-off limit at low voltage: 173 VAC ± 10 VAC.
When the voltage is below the cut-off limit, when the voltage is lowered, the ignition control is turned off and does not start the program execution sequence.
At voltages between the cut-off limit at low voltage and the lowest value of the mains supply voltage range, the ignition control system operates functionally correctly, with the exception of the ignition frequency for O.S. numbers with high spark energy (15 µA). The parameters are not guaranteed in the specification, but the safety time is not increased, the standby time is not reduced, and the blocking function is guaranteed at mains voltage up to 162 V AC.
At the mains voltage level at which the undervoltage disconnection no longer works, the voltage level is too low to open the gas valve (rated voltage about 150 V AC).
Reliability and service life of the product
The S4564 ignition control system will withstand:
• 500,000 cycles for the operator of the gas safety valve and the main valve.
• 250,000 cycles at maximum loads.
• 6000 blocking operations at maximum loads.
• 1000 hours of sparking (type tested during the continuous sparking durability test).
