The Honeywell S4561B1039U(2)  ignition regulatoris designed for automatic ignition and control of atmospheric burners according to the EN 298 standard.

The ignition board Ferroli, 39803640, 36505990 Honeywell is placed in the boilers Pegasus F2 /F3.

Here are its main electrical and functional characteristics:

Electrical characteristics

– Supply voltage: 220 V … 240 V AC; 50 Hz; power not more than 10 VA.

– Gas valves: 220 V… 240 V; current not more than 1 A.

– Electrical connection: Uses a polyhedral Molex 3003 connector compatible with the Molex 3001 connector.

– Spark ignition: 2.8 x 0.5 mm with a blade terminal.

– Flame extinguisher and grounding tip of the shovel: 6.3 x 0.8 mm in size.

Features

– Flame control.

– Built-in spark ignition with a frequency from 5 to 50 Hz.

– Possibility of external reset, alarm and connection to a high limit.

– Built-in factory safety timer with a setting from 0 to 50 seconds.

– Operates at a supply voltage of 220 V… 240 V.

– Complete sequence of operations after flame loss.

– The possibility of volatile or non-volatile blocking in accordance with the EN standard.

– Alarm in the absence of heat.

– Protective impedance on the flame extinguisher.

– Extended spark ignition or quick start capability.

– Built-in potential-free contact SPST flame indication relay for use in SELV circuits or potential-free SPDT flame indication relay contact for use in line voltage circuits.

Ignition

– Can ignite up to (G) round, (Cl) closed loop or (N) one Cl.

– A mode depending on the phase neutrality of the flame sensor.

– Flame power DT L.

– The spark frequency is 12 Hz.

– The minimum open spark voltage is 15 kV.

General considerations

– The Resideo S4561B1039B(2) automatic ignition controller must be installed outside of access. If the internal fuse burns out due to a short circuit, the repair of the automatic ignition controller must be carried out by Honeywell.

– To ensure reliable and long-term operation of the ignition regulator, it is recommended to install it in a place with a low ambient temperature and minimal thermal radiation. High temperatures can negatively affect the service life of the device.

– For safety reasons, it is recommended to connect the upper limit of the thermostat in series with the comfort regulators in order to automatically turn off the ignition regulator in case of overheating.

– To suppress radio frequency interference (RFI), the automatic ignition controller, including spark igniter cables, must be installed in a sufficiently shielded room.

System operation

When the comfort control system requires heating, a self-check time (Tcheck) and a waiting period (Tw) pass before turning on the built-in igniter and gas valve. Spark ignition then ignites the gas and the flame is detected by a flame extinguisher. The ignition switches off after a certain time, depending on the elapsed safe time, after the flame is established. If the flame does not occur within a safe time (Ts), the automatic ignition controller is blocked. If the flame disappears during normal operation, the controller repeats the start sequence.

These characteristics and recommendations ensure reliable and safe operation of the automatic ignition system of gas burners.
