Honeywell M7284C1083/B actuators, equipped with or without spring return, are designed for efficient control of flaps and valves in a variety of systems. These devices provide precise positioning of the flap or valve, ranging from fully open to fully closed position.
An electronic controller is used to achieve high accuracy and efficiency in position control. This controller transmits a signal to the motor in the form of current or voltage, thereby providing precision control over the position of the flap or valve.
The Honeywell M7284C1083 servo has an increased resolution of 160 positions (steps), with a stroke of 90 degrees to 160 degrees.
This control method is widely used in heating, ventilation, air conditioning and other areas where it is necessary to regulate the flow of air or liquid. Honeywell M7284 C 1083/B servomotors provide reliable operation and optimal performance in various operating conditions.
Specifications
• The motor and electrical circuits operate from a voltage of 24 VAC. Models are provided with a transformer installed by the manufacturer or with the possibility of installing a built-in transformer at the place of application.
• Quick-release terminals as standard, with an adapter provided for threaded terminals, provide ease of installation.
• An adapter bracket is provided to adapt the height of the shaft position in accordance with the requirements for old engines.
• In most engines, the stroke can be adjusted at the installation site (from 90° to 160°), providing flexibility in application.
• Cast aluminum housing provides durability and reliability in various operating conditions.
• Honeywell M7284C 1083/U servos are designed to effectively replace the M734H, J; M744S, T, Y; M745L, S, T, Y motors, providing a modern and reliable solution.
• The built-in return spring automatically returns the motor shaft to its normal position when the power is turned off, ensuring reliability and safety.
• The integrated junction box provides protection against external influences according to the NEMA 3 class, which makes these servos resistant to various atmospheric conditions.
• Built-in auxiliary switches can be installed by the manufacturer or added at the place of application, providing additional control options.
• The nominal standard full stroke time is 30 seconds (90° stroke) and 60 seconds (160° stroke), while models with a different full stroke time are available.
• Spring return motors can be used to move the rods of normally open or normally closed valves from the drive and auxiliary shaft ends.
• All models are equipped with shafts with two working ends (with a groove and an internal thread at both ends), which ensures versatility in installation.
• All models are also equipped with cams for auxiliary switches, providing additional control options.
• Constant torque is provided over the entire voltage range.
• The engines are designed for use with both normally open and normally closed valves and flaps, providing versatility in application.
