Design of Honeywell M6294F1017-F actuators:

1. Type: Motors with astatic control, three-wire power supply and with or without spring return.

2. Application: Used in flap or valve control systems in combination with controllers that support single-pole switching in two directions or astatic control mode.

Functions of the M6294F1017-F/U servomotors:

1. Built-in feedback potentiometer: An electrically isolated potentiometer used to measure the position of the motor shaft.

2. Synchronization and balancing: It can be used for synchronization with the leading motors of the 90 series or for secondary balancing of the external control circuit.

Recommendations for the selection and installation of the engine location:

1. Space and Maintenance:

– Provide sufficient space to accommodate accessories and ensure easy maintenance.

2. Outdoor installation:

   – When installing outdoors, use moisture-proof connectors.

   – Use a junction box that provides protection against external conditions according to NEMA 3 class.

3. Installation in Any Position Other than Vertical:

– When installing outdoors in any position other than vertical, it is recommended to use the 4074ERU Environmental Protection Kit.

4. Compliance with Standards:

– The environmental protection kit and the moisture-proof connectors must meet the protection requirements of the NEMA 3 class.

Mounting

Follow the instructions below to install the M6294 F 1017-F/B actuator correctly:

1. Position the motor so that the crank is in a horizontal position.

2. Use the holes in the mounting flanges extending from the base of the motor housing for mounting screws or bolts with a diameter of 1/4 inch (6.4 mm).

3. If the motor is not equipped with a spring return, it is supplied by the manufacturer in the closed position. In this case, it is the extreme position of rotation counterclockwise when viewed from the drive end of the shaft.
