Honeywell C7027A1072 UV sensor

The Honeywell C7027A1072 flame sensors are designed to detect ultraviolet radiation, which is usually manifested during gorenje. These flame detectors are integrated into Honeywell flame monitoring systems to ensure reliable flame detection in gas, oil and combined burners.

The characteristics and functionality of the Honeywell C7027A1072/U flame detectors include joint use with the R7249A, R7290A, R7749B and R7849A,B amplifiers, as well as the corresponding Honeywell control devices. The Resideo C7027A1072/B flame sensors are equipped with a built-in cuff with 1/2-14 NPSM internal thread for installation on a ½-inch inspection tube. Due to its compact size, Honeywell C7027A1072 devices are well suited for installation on purge pipes. When properly installed, these detectors can operate at pressures up to 5 psi. Two flame sensors C7027A1072 can be connected in parallel in cases where flame monitoring is difficult. The C7027A1072/U photocell is intended only for use with the R7851B flame amplifier and the corresponding Honeywell control devices.

• Installation: Cuff with 1/2-14 NPSM internal thread for installation on a ½-inch inspection tube.

• Electrical connections: Two wires 6 ft [1.83 m], color-coded, NEC Class 1. (One model comes with wires 24 ft [7.32 m] long). At the back of the detector there is a clamping contact for a ½-inch flexible metal conductor. (There are also models with a pressure contact and an internal thread of ½-inch).
