Flame detectors C7024E1001/U 24 V are solid-state electronic devices for measuring ultraviolet radiation emitted during the combustion of most carbon-containing fuels, such as natural gas, liquefied gas and oil.

Features

• Solid-state electronic circuit ensures low power consumption and high reliability.

• Detectors can be installed horizontally, vertically or at any intermediate angle. Self-monitoring models require alignment of the front panel and have built-in control points to ensure proper operation of the device.

• The tube for measuring ultraviolet radiation and the quartz viewing window are replaced in the field.

• Threaded pipe and color-coded lead wires ensure quick installation of electrical equipment.

• Two flame sensors can be connected in parallel to reduce the number of emergency shutdowns in complex flame detection systems.

• There is a swivel mount to facilitate the observation of the flame.

• Temperature -40° F (-40°C).

• Enables the UV sensor tube test function used in Honeywell R7824C devices.

• The oscillating shutter interrupts the UV radiation by accessing the UV sensor 12 times per minute to provide the UV sensor check function.

• The housing complies with NEMA 4 standards (indoor and outdoor protection: waterproof, dustproof, water supply from a hose).

• Protective heat block built into the mounting flange.

• High pressure (50 psi [345 kPa]) Quartz viewing window, focusing lens and anti-vibration mounting accessories are available.
