Brahma SM 36223151 controllers have been specially designed for atmospheric burners of intermittent cycle (systems with non-constant combustion), with or without a fan. Brahma SM 36223151 combustion managers are suitable for: combined boilers, heating boilers, air heaters, IR heaters, water heaters. Due to the variety of models, they can also be used for any furnaces with atmospheric burners.

Flame control is based on the ionization effect; during operation, a high voltage is present on the control electrode, so touching it is not safe.

Construction

The plastic housing protects the Brahma SM 36223151 burner control unit from mechanical damage, dust and dirt under operating conditions. The varistor protects the controller from power supply voltage fluctuations. The special technology of production and surface installation of electronic components allows to achieve minimum overall dimensions.

Operation of the controller

At each start, the Brahma SM 36223151 control box performs a self-check of its components. During standby or pre-purge (TW), the flame signal amplifier is checked: the internal circuit checks the circuit of the flame signal amplifier. A false flame signal or an error in the amplifier stops the start. In versions with a fan, the air pressure switch is checked before the expiration of the pre-purge time, it should show “no air flow”. Only in case of a positive test result, the fan starts and when the air pressure switch is switched to the “presence of air flow” position, the purge time report begins. At the end of the waiting or purging time, power is supplied to the gas valve (VG1) and the ignition device is switched on. At this point, the Security Time Report (TS) begins. If a flame is detected during the safety time, the ignition device is blocked and, for the corresponding models, power is supplied to the main valve (VG2) or an additional one.the contact switches from the “off” position to the “flame detected” position. Otherwise, if no flame is detected after the safety time (TS) has elapsed, the controller switches to manual lock mode, the VG1 gas valve and the ignition device turn off. The loss of the flame signal during the safety time turns on the ignition device for 1 second. The cyclograms in the app will help you understand how each controller works.

Reset the lock

When switching to lock mode, the lock must be reset no earlier than 10 seconds later; otherwise, the controller may restart incorrectly.
