Brahma TGRD61 18047005 control box, based on microcontrollers from the KOMPACT series, are designed specifically for efficient control of gas atmospheric burners, whether with or without a fan in the combustion circuit, as well as oil atmospheric burners in variable operating conditions. The KOMPACT series, in particular the TGRD type, is designed to provide ignition and flame control functionality, including a built-in high-efficiency electronic ignition transformer. This functionality is already present in the KOMPACT type TGR series, but now with additional options and flexibility provided by a single microcontroller approach.

These Brahma TGRD61 18047005 burner control units are equipped with a non-volatile or volatile lock. In the first case, restarting the controller from the protective lock state is possible only by manually resetting the system. In the second case, the controller can be restarted from the protective lock state only by interrupting the power supply and then restoring it, and not by switching the heating device.

Brahma TGRD61 18047005 automatic controllers of this series are suitable for various applications, such as combined heating and steam boilers, hot air generators, radiation tube heaters, convector heaters with a fan, water heaters, washing machines, furnaces and monoblock burners.

The systems in this series comply with EN 525, EN 1020 and EN 1319 standards for gas hot air generators or DIN 4794, Part 2 (December 1980 edition) concerning oil hot air generators (only TW = 20s and TS =5s versions).

Constructive

The use of an innovative circuit and components for surface mounting made it possible to reduce the dimensions of the controller circuit board.

The plastic housing (and the lacquer coating on the printed circuit board, if required) protect the controller from mechanical damage caused by an accident, hardening, dust and contact with the external environment.

The varistor protects the controller from peak voltage in the power grid caused, for example, by atmospheric discharges, such as lightning strikes.

An internal available fuse protects the controller relay in the event of a short circuit at the outputs (valves, fan and lock signal).

The built-in electromagnetic interference filter reduces electromagnetic interference generated by the ignition discharge.

Finally, a resistor connected in series to the lock output signal can be installed to protect the device from possible inversions of the remote unlock contact connection.

Functions

• EU type certification (CE PIN 0694BP0610) in accordance with the Gas Appliances Directive 2009/142/CE.

• Compliance with the standards EN298:2003 (automatic gas burner control systems), EN676:2003 (automatic supercharged gas burners), DIN 4788 (burners with fan) and EN230:2005 (automatic oil burner control systems).

• UL type certification (file no. MH46742) in accordance with UL 372 and CSA C22.2 No. 199 (American Standard for Automatic Control Systems for Gas and Liquid Fuel Stoves).

• Flame detection based on rectification properties (electrode or UV radiation via FD photodiode.. for gas emissions) or detection of the appearance of visible light (through a photocell of type FC.. or UV radiation through the FD photodiode.. for oil emissions).

• Using microcontroller technology to accurately set ignition timing and playback with or without multiple attempts.

• Built-in electronic ignition transformer with high efficiency and remote control.

• The possibility of direct ignition of the burners or the use of an intermittent or intermittent pilot signal.

• Support for connecting remote signals, locking and resetting.

• Indication of the status of the lock and unlock signals using a multi-color LED on the board.

• Two safety contacts for controlling the gas valve.

• The service life of the electrical resource at high temperatures is more than 250,000 operations.

• The possibility of connecting a resistor (100 ÷ 470 kOhm) to the signal blocking output to prevent damage to the controller in case of accidental entanglement of the blocking wires and blocking signal wires.
