BRAHMA TCD1FS 15930030 ignition transformers are characterized by extremely compact overall dimensions. They are used in gas burners, burners for light and heavy types of liquid fuels in both domestic and commercial as well as industrial installations.

The principle of operation is based on a high-frequency electronic generator; the voltage produced by it increases due to the use of a transformer with a ferritic core, reaching output values of 17 kV.

All BRAHMA TCD1FS 15930030 transformers have a filter and comply with the requirements of Directive 2004/108/EC without the use of additional external filters.

Specifications

BRAHMA TCD1FS 15930030 transformers with ignition cable provide the flexibility to choose between single- or double-contact output. Various mounting and connection systems are available for more convenient installation. Built-in short circuit protection and the presence of an integrated EMC filter ensure reliability and stability of operation. The compact dimensions of the transformers make it easy to replace most transformers from other manufacturers, and their dimensions correspond to the transformers of the TC and TD series from Brahma. High efficiency and ignition power combine low power consumption. In gas and liquid fuel burners, the safety of ignition transformers directly depends on the controller.

Construction

The principle of operation based on the use of a high-frequency electronic generator made it possible to create a device of compact dimensions and low weight, but with high ignition power. The electronic circuit and the BRAHMA TCD1FS 15930030 transformer with a ferritic core are treated with a special composition with high thermal conductivity and a special expansion coefficient, which provides protection against temperature fluctuations and overloads caused by prolonged operation. The built-in varistor protects the device from possible power surges in the power supply network.

Connections

BRAHMA TCD1FS 15930030 spark transformers can be supplied with a triangular connector SP1 for connecting the power cable, or with a connector 6.35×0.8; Cable length and end can be changed on request.

The connection of the high-voltage cable is available in 2 versions: connection with an ø4 mm connector or a threaded connection. All connectors, including connectors with cable, are available on request.

Installation

We draw your attention to the high voltage in the devices. To safely connect and disconnect the transformer, the power supply should be turned off. During installation, it is recommended to comply with national and European standards such as EN60355-1 / EN50165 to ensure electrical safety. To protect against electric shock, the valve body must be connected to the ground, and the transformer can be installed in any position. Place high-voltage cables at a safe distance from other cables, and provide the appropriate level of protection for this installation.

Permissions

BRAHMA TCD1FS 15930030 ignition units meet the requirements of the Low Voltage Directive (LVD) 2006/95/EC, as they have an IMQ resolution in accordance with EN 61558-1:2005+A1:2009 and EN 61558-2-3:2010 standards.
