BRAHMA TCD1FA 15930020 transformers with ignition cable are very compact in size and are used in gas burners, as well as burners for light and heavy liquid fuels. They are used in both home and commercial as well as industrial installations. The principle of operation is based on a high-frequency electronic generator that uses a transformer with a ferritic core to increase the voltage to 17 kV. All BRAHMA TCD1FA 15930020 ignition  transformers are equipped with a filter and comply with the requirements of Directive 2004/108/EC without the need for additional external filters.

Specifications

  • Single or double-pin high voltage output;
  • Various mounting and connecting systems;
  • Built-in short circuit protection;
  • Built-in EMC filter;
  • The dimensions allow you to replace most transformers from other manufacturers;
  • The dimensions correspond to the transformers of the TC and TD series manufactured by Brahma;
  • High efficiency and ignition power;

Construction

The use of a high-frequency electronic generator in principle made it possible to create a compact and lightweight device with high ignition power. The electronic circuit and the BRAHMA TCD1FA 15930020 spark transformer with a ferritic core are treated with a special composition with high thermal conductivity and a special expansion coefficient that provides protection against temperature fluctuations and overloads caused by prolonged operation. The built-in varistor protects the device from possible power surges in the power supply network.

Connections

BRAHMA TCD1FA 15930020 transformers can be supplied with a triangular shaped SP1 connector for connecting a power cable or a 6.35×0 connector.8. The length and configuration of the cable can be adapted according to the customer’s request. The connection of the high-voltage cable is provided in two versions: with a connector with a diameter of ø4 mm or a threaded connection. All types of connectors, including connectors with cable, are available on request.

Installation

  • ATTENTION! HIGH VOLTAGE.
  • Connect and disconnect the transformer only after the power is turned off.
  • The installation is carried out in accordance with national and European standards (e.g. EN60355-1 / EN50165) for electrical safety.
  • The installation must ensure that the valve body is connected to the ground to provide protection against electric shock. – The transformer is installed in any position.
  • Do not place high-voltage cables next to other cables.
  • Ensure the appropriate level of protection for this installation.
