The Brahma BRAHMA TB2SVCAF 15910560 ignition transformer is equipped with an EMC filter to reduce electromagnetic interference. Complies with Directive 2004/108/EC without the need for additional external filters. The characteristics allow the device to be used to replace T8 type transformers, while the overall dimensions are significantly reduced. The principle of operation is based on a high-frequency generator. The voltage increases to high-voltage values (15 kW), is applied to the ignition electrodes to ignite the fuel.

The transformer is equipped with a plastic shock- and heat-resistant housing of IP 00 dust and moisture protection class. It has 2 high voltage outputs. Screw connectors Ø2.5 mm are provided for connecting ignition cables.

The electronic circuit and the transformer with a ferritic core are filled with a special resin with high thermal conductivity and a special coefficient of expansion, which contributes to high resistance to temperature changes, overloads due to prolonged operation. The built-in varistor is used to protect against power surges.

The generated high-voltage voltage is applied to the ignition electrodes, between which a powerful igniting arc is formed. The package includes an anti-interference filter, a 0.56 m power cable. The ignition device operates stably at external temperatures from -10 to +60 °.
