The BRAHMA TSC1 15900121 ignition transformers are the ideal solution for continuous operation in atmospheric gas burners. They differ significantly in the frequency and power of the spark, which directly affects the discharge energy. Due to this high discharge energy, they are able to be used in situations where traditional capacitive ignition transformers are ineffective. The BRAHMA TSC1 15900121 transformers with ignition cable have a plastic housing and epoxy resin filling to ensure reliable insulation and safety in use.

Installation

  • Connect and disconnect the BRAHMA TSC1 15900121 ignition transformer only after the power is turned off.
  • The installation is carried out in accordance with national and European standards (e.g. EN 60355-1 / EN 50165 / EN 61558-1-2-3) for electrical safety.
  • The installation must ensure that the valve body is connected to the ground to provide protection against electric shock.
  • The ignition device BRAHMA TSC1 15900121 is installed in any position
  • Do not place high-voltage cables next to other cables.
  • Ensure the appropriate level of protection for this installation.
  • Minimize the length of the ignition cable (this will reduce the parasitic capacity and the likelihood that the ignition cables will act as an antenna transmitting interference to nearby cables).
  • Route the ignition cables as close as possible to the ground busbar to reduce the impact of interference on the remaining electrical wires.
  • Arrange the grounding at one point, thereby preventing the creation of parasitic ring currents.

Connection

The power supply is connected using a 6.3X0.8 quick-release connection, while the high-voltage part of the equipment uses a 2.8X0.5 quick-release connection. This method provides convenience and speed of connection, which is especially important for the efficient operation of the system. When choosing connections, it is important to take into account their dimensions in order to avoid energy loss and reliably ensure the functionality of the equipment.

Notes

Avoid unnecessarily long ignition cables, as this can lead to a decrease in discharge energy due to the formation of a parasitic capacitance between the cable and the ground bus in the vicinity. It is also recommended to avoid placing ignition cables close to other wires, as this can cause energy transfer between adjacent conductors through the phenomenon of “parasitic capacitance”, which can potentially damage connected devices, especially electronic ones.
