Honeywell VR4615VB1006B gas solenoid valves are designed for safe gas flow control in home heating systems, radiators, boilers and water heaters. These valves provide standard functions and have the possibility of additional settings, such as pressure regulation, the use of throttle valves, soft ignition devices, two-level control and gas flow modulation. Honeywell VR4615VB 1006B compact automatic gas valves are available with different power options, including mains and low-voltage, as well as different capacity.

Where it can be installed: condensing (condensate) boilers with Giannoni (Gianni) TRIO and DUO (trio duo), TRIO 200 and DUO 100 heat exchangers. Articles: 39830400, 36800860.

Each of these regulators includes two electrical actuators:

1. One for controlling the opening of a safety valve of class A or B according to EN 161.

2. The other for controlling the opening of the main valve of class B, C or J according to EN 161.

General provisions

The Resideo VR4615 VB 1006B gas regulator is designed for gas heating installations with DSI, HSI or IP ignition systems for the main burner.

The main burner is controlled by two-position electrical actuators.

The VR4615VB1006U controller includes an internal fine-mesh filter on the input side, and can be equipped with an output mesh filter on request. Different models with different closing strength are available:

  1. B + B
  2. B + J
  3. B + C
  4. A + J
  5. A + C

To control and adjust the pressure of the burner, there are pressure measuring fittings with an outer diameter of 9 mm on the input and output sides. The regulator can be installed within an angle of 90° in any direction from the vertical position of the two-position electric actuator.

The base of the VR4615VB 1006U valve has two threaded mounting holes for mounting on the heating system. The two-position actuator of the tracking type of the main valve is equipped with an electrical connector according to DIN standard and can be connected to AMP connectors.

Principle of operation

The principle of operation of the VR4615 VB 1006U gas solenoid valve is to automatically control the gas outlet pressure. The system has positive feedback, which ensures that the main valve is closed in case of a power failure or gas supply. This ensures a stable outlet pressure, regardless of changes in the inlet pressure. If there is no need for pressure regulation, it is possible to lock the regulator spring, which allows you to control the output pressure based on the full pressure of the “servogas”.
