Danfoss OD Nozzles — Precise Atomization for Efficient Fuel Combustion
Danfoss OD nozzles provide precise and reliable fuel atomization for optimal combustion in oil burners. Danfoss nozzles are 100% tested and certified according to CEN performance and spray standards.
Advantages of OD Nozzles
- Stable spray due to precise swirl chamber geometry
- Full performance traceability with CEN markings
- Wide capacity range: from 0.40 to 35.00 USgal/h
- Three spray patterns: S — solid, H — hollow, B — semi-solid
- Four spray angles: 30°, 45°, 60°, 80°
Performance and Spray Types
Here are sample values for Danfoss OD nozzle capacities and spray patterns:
Flow (USgal/h) | Spray angle / pattern | Capacity (kg/h) |
---|---|---|
0.50 | 30°–80° / S, H | 1.87 |
0.60 | 30°–80° / S, H, B | 2.37 |
1.00 | all angles / S, H, B | 3.72 |
2.00–5.00 | all angles / mostly B | 7.5–18.5 |
10.00–35.00 | 60°–80° / B | 37–130 |
Filter Types
Each OD nozzle comes with a filter matched to its capacity:
- 0.40–0.45 USgal/h → bronze, 45 µm
- 0.50–1.00 USgal/h → bronze, 75 µm
- 1.10–1.35 USgal/h → bronze, 120 µm
- 1.50–11.00 USgal/h → monel, 140 µm
- 12.00 USgal/h and above → no filter
Danfoss Nozzle Marking
The nozzle marking includes:
