The Danfoss BFP 20 and BFP 21 fuel pumps are designed for small and medium-sized domestic oil burners operating on light fuel oil or kerosene. These models ensure stable fuel delivery and are known for their long-lasting and reliable performance. All Danfoss fuel pumps offer high compatibility and easy integration into various heating systems.

Key Features

The BFP 21 version is equipped with an integrated solenoid shut-off valve, which instantly cuts off fuel supply when the burner stops. Both models support one- and two-pipe systems, and include a built-in pressure regulator and replaceable cassette filter.

Operating Principle

In a two-pipe system, excess fuel is returned to the tank. In a single-pipe system, the return is blocked, and surplus fuel flows through a bypass. The solenoid valve (in BFP 21) cuts fuel flow off when de-energized. These pumps are service-friendly and provide reliable operation under varying conditions.

Applications and Advantages

  • Compatible with one- and two-pipe systems
  • Compact design and easy filter replacement
  • Reliable shutdown with solenoid valve
  • Suitable for most domestic oil burners
