Operation Principle

At each start, the control unit performs self-diagnostics. During pre-purge, the flame signal amplifier is tested. Only after successful test the gas valve and ignition device are activated. If flame is detected within safety time (TS), ignition is stopped. If no flame is detected, the system goes to lockout.
