The Danfoss RSA fuel pump series is used in small and medium-sized domestic burners with fuel consumption up to 255 L/h. Danfoss RSA pumps feature an integrated pressure regulator with shut-off function and support both single- and two-pipe systems.

Purpose and Key Features

RSA pumps are suitable for light fuel oil and kerosene. Thanks to a built-in spring, they can be used not only in burners, but also as transfer or feed pumps. The internal regulator maintains constant pressure, and when the pump stops, it shuts off the fuel flow automatically.

Working Principle

Fuel is drawn in through the inlet line and pressurized via the internal gear mechanism. In two-pipe systems, excess fuel returns to the tank; in one-pipe systems, it’s redirected to a bypass. When the pump stops, the built-in spring pushes the piston to shut the pressure line and fully stop fuel flow.
